Queen of Shadows: A Book Review

Queen of Shadows: A Book Review

Okay. Queen of Shadows. I finally finished this beast of a book…because it’s a beast. At 648 pages, it’s my longest read of the year so far. And with school starting literally the day before it came out, it’s taken me almost two weeks to read this one. I have read a couple of books within that time period, but still. Twelve days is forever long for me to be reading one book. Seriously, forever long. BUT I FINISHED. Like an hour ago, so everything is fresh and raw in my brain. Which might mean that this review will be a […]

Heir of Fire: A Book Review

Heir of Fire: A Book Review

Yay, I have finally finished this book. I’ve been binge-reading the entire series this past month hoping to finish before Queen of Shadows came out. Which it did yesterday. And I finished Heir of Fire yesterday. So, yes, there was some overlap, but not that much! Not going to lie. This book is probably my least favorite out of the previous two and the novella bind-up. Crown of Midnight: A Book Review

Crown of Midnight: A Book Review

There have been a billion and one reviews of all the Throne of Glass books. People rave about them, they love them. And I’ve been binge-reading Maas’s books and I have fallen in love with the stories and characters, as well. But instead of fangirling over Crown of Midnight, I’m going to give you my favorite quotes from the book.  Because Maas’s writing is beautiful and definitely quote-worthy. So if you want a review, check out my review of Throne of Glass here. Because everything applies. Except it lost all similarity to the Hunger Games and became its own completely unique thing. But first […]

Throne of Glass: A Book Review

Throne of Glass: A Book Review

Ahhh. The Throne of Glass. I can’t believe I have never read these before. Actually before my book blogging days, I had never even heard of Throne of Glass, let alone read them. And now here I am. Three books in (including the prequel). And I LOVE THEM. This first book is like the Hunger Games + fantasy + awesome-sauce all rolled into one.

Because You’ll Never Meet Me: A Book Review

Because You’ll Never Meet Me: A Book Review

I don’t really know where to start with this book review because honestly I don’t really know what happened with this book. I started off really liking it. Each chapter is a letter from these two pen pals, Moritz and Ollie. They both have…disabilities, I guess you could say. Ollie is “allergic” to electricity, or has something similar but way more intense than epilepsy. Moritz was born without eyes and also has a pacemaker, something that makes it nearly impossible for Ollie and him to ever meet. So it started off interesting and captivating. I wanted to know about their very […]
