This was an interesting book to read and review. I’m not usually one for nonfiction, but I’m all for fangirls and nerdiness. After reading it, I like two aspects but was overall underwhelmed.
Review: Books based on true stories are kind of scary things. Books can provide so much emotion – anger, frustration, denial, elation, excitement – that it’s easy to lose yourself in this other world. But with memoirs, you’re losing yourself in someone’s life, someone’s memories, and that can be hard to process.
