Okay. Queen of Shadows. I finally finished this beast of a book…because it’s a beast. At 648 pages, it’s my longest read of the year so far. And with school starting literally the day before it came out, it’s taken me almost two weeks to read this one. I have read a couple of books within that time period, but still. Twelve days is forever long for me to be reading one book. Seriously, forever long. BUT I FINISHED. Like an hour ago, so everything is fresh and raw in my brain. Which might mean that this review will be a […]
Yay, I have finally finished this book. I’ve been binge-reading the entire series this past month hoping to finish before Queen of Shadows came out. Which it did yesterday. And I finished Heir of Fire yesterday. So, yes, there was some overlap, but not that much! Not going to lie. This book is probably my least favorite out of the previous two and the novella bind-up. The Assassin’s Blade still holds the #1 place in my heart. BUT that’s not saying this book wasn’t amazing. Because this book was still totally amazing and holds a strong four star rating in my books. Let’s […]
There have been a billion and one reviews of all the Throne of Glass books. People rave about them, they love them. And I’ve been binge-reading Maas’s books and I have fallen in love with the stories and characters, as well. But instead of fangirling over Crown of Midnight, I’m going to give you my favorite quotes from the book. Because Maas’s writing is beautiful and definitely quote-worthy. So if you want a review, check out my review of Throne of Glass here. Because everything applies. Except it lost all similarity to the Hunger Games and became its own completely unique thing. But first […]
Ahhh. The Throne of Glass. I can’t believe I have never read these before. Actually before my book blogging days, I had never even heard of Throne of Glass, let alone read them. And now here I am. Three books in (including the prequel). And I LOVE THEM. This first book is like the Hunger Games + fantasy + awesome-sauce all rolled into one.
Let me just start by saying that this book was perfection. It was beautiful and wonderful and I don’t honestly have much to say otherwise, if anything at all really. So I’m just throwing that out there. This is now one of my all-time favorite books and I will now forever and always be a Renée Ahdieh fangirl. No shame.
These are the five novellas that take place before the Throne of Glass series even begins. And this was my first introduction into the ToG world…and let me tell you. I fell swiftly and I fell hard into this fandom.
