On My Nightstand in April 2016

TBR

THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOLS JOKE. I am actually posting. After over three weeks. Eeeeeeep. But I’m back! And I’m hoping April will be a better reading/blogging month for me. BECAUSE SCHOOL WILL BE OUT. *backflips in excitement even though I definitely cannot backflip in real life*

So I’m probably going to be over-ambitious in this month’s TBR (because I’m never over-ambitious, right?). But that’s okay. Shoot for the stars and even if you miss you’ll land among the stars…and all that jazz. So here we go—shooting for those stars!

TBR for class

Like I said, school is almost done for me for four entire months. I could cry from happiness. I probably will cry from happiness. Or stress from finals. But then from happiness when they’re over. But I do have some more books to read in these last few weeks! But just these two (I’m fairly sure):

the importance of being earnest three men in a boat

TBR for review

This month I’m participating in ARC April, an event where we bloggers attempt to read all the ARCs and write all the reviews—motivation I desperately need. If you want to see more info about the event, click here. I’m not going to post all the ARCs that I have to read here (because I shamefully have too many that have been published for a while already *hides*) but here are some prime ones that I definitely need to get to in April:

the star-touched queen you were here will you won't you want me the girl from everywhere

PS I’m already reading The Girl from Everywhere, so hopefully I’ll finish that one soon! My goal for ARC April is to read eight ARCs. Can I do it? I don’t know! But I’m going to try! The stars, remember?

TBR for kicks

This section’s pretty self-explanatory, but it’s where all the books that aren’t for class and aren’t for review go. All the pretties on my shelf and in my heart that I just need to read, you feel me?

demon the storyspinner calamity darkest minds

Apparently I’m feeling the fantasy books? These books have been on my TBR for awhile, so hopefully I’ll actually get to them this month! (Tell me why you love them so I feel motivated!)

What books are you reading this month? Have you read any of the books on my list? Let me know in the comments!

  • I read The Star-Touched Queen last month, and I loved it! Hope you will too (: Good luck with reading those 8 ARCs!

  • Such a great TBR, some of which I also really need to get around to reading, I love the sound of The Star-Touched Queen and The Girl from Everywhere has also sparked my attention. I’ve read The Darkest minds and The Storyspinner and they were both enjoyable reads. I hope you have a great reading month.
