On My Nightstand in March 2016

TBR

Another month means another 31 days to read new books! I’m behind on my reading goal right now (which Goodreads loves to tell me every time I log in), but it’s okay. I’m still positive about my 110 and know that I can make it. This past month was pretty stressful with midterms and internship applications/interviews and freelancing and just everything, but I still made it through 7 books, which is an accomplishment in my book (ha, book). So let’s see what books I might will be reading this month.

TBR for class

There aren’t that many that I have to read for class this month. And I realized that last month I included two books that I didn’t actually have to read the entire thing…so they didn’t count. BUT these The Island of Dr. Moreau and Treasure Island…do in fact have to read later in March. And I’m currently reading Lady Audley’s Secret and hopefully finishing that in the next couple of days. All for my lovely Victorian lit class. And then there’s The Subversive Copyeditor, which I am also currently reading for my editing class!

TBR for review

I always seem to list the same books for this because I never get through all the ones that I need to. But I got through a couple of the ones I listed last month, and hopefully we’ll get through a couple more of those now.

TBR for kicks

And, of course, there are the books that I’m going to read just because I want to read them and no one can stop me. Which, of course, I’m excited about and I have no idea if I’ll actually get to them or not. BUT THAT’S OKAY. So here are the options (a lot of which are repeat offenders from last month’s list).

Which books are you reading this month? Have you read any on my list? Let me know in the comments!

I’m glad you’re reading Between Shades of Grey because I’d love to hear your opinion on it! Can you please spoil the Infinite Sea for me because I’m never going to read it but I still have unanswered questions!! AND I loved The Darkest Minds, but I listened to it which somehow makes me less picky about books, so maybe take that into account. (:

I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Star-Touched Queen, it’s one of my most anticipated reads of 2016!
