Top Ten Tuesday

THREE MORE SLEEPS UNTIL CHRISTMAS. Basdiaojdisaodjsadsa. Christmas is a time of family, friends, love, and the Michael Bublé Holiday Pandora station. Of too much food and too little time off of school. A time that, for me, means reading what I want and how much I want. And, of course, it’s a time of gifts. And being who I am, a lot of the things on my wishlist are books. Here are ten books that I definitely wouldn’t mind Santa leaving me under the Christmas tree this year (I’ve been good, I promise).

wishlist

I included a good mix of both backlist books and new 2016 releases that I’m coveting because Santa is magic and if anyone can do it, Santa can. The backlists are just books that I’ve loved but don’t own yet.

What books are you wanting for Christmas this year? Let me know in the comments and link me to your Top Ten Tuesday!

  • Love the graphic! I also want to read The Wrath and the Dawn and Daughter of Smoke and Bone! I got an e-ARC of A Study and Charlotte and will be reading it soon! I hope you get all of these! Happy Holidays!

    • I’ve read them both already and LOVED them. Now I just need copies on my shelf! Let me know what you think of A Study in Charlotte when you read it! I’m really looking forward to that one.

  • Hahahah yes! If Santa brings you A Study in Charlotte, please let me know so I can go beg him for my copy, haha! This is a great list! While I didn’t include Daughter of Smoke and Bone on my TTT list today, I did put it on the wishlist I made earlier.

    My TTT!

    • Hahaha, unfortunately he did not bring me A Study in Charlotte, but that’s okay.

  • Стефани Табаковска

Mistborn and Stardust are amazing. I would gift them to you myself if I could. Happy reading! https://ireadboooks.wordpress.com/2015/12/22/ten-books-i-dnf-ed-in-2015/

    • Yes, I’ve read them both but I neeeeed physical copies on my shelf! They’re wonderful!

  • Oh yes, Heartless. I stuck with backlist titles on my list, but I would totally add Heartless, too. I hope Santa works his preorder magic for you! Also, Michael Bublé Christmas music is just magical.

    • Sarah, Sarah, Sarah. I know I take forever to reply to comments and we’ve already talked about this…but when I saw this comment that said you have a post, I was SO excited. I totally understand your need for a hiatus, but it was good to see you back 🙂

And yes, yes, yes, to Michael Bublé being magic. He’s wonderful.

  • I love your graphic, so cute!!! The Wrath and the Dawn made my list too. Hopefully we will both get a copy in our stockings! It would be a Christmas Miracle if you got Heartless under your tree considering it isn’t released until next November! Haha, but that would be an amazing book to receive! I have had Stardust on my TBR FOREVER, but still have never read it. Maybe I’ll have to get myself a copy in the sales after Christmas! I hope you get everything you wished for, Merry Christmas! 🙂

    • Hahaha Heartless was definitely stretching the limits of a Christmas miracle, but it would’ve been awesome. You should definitely read Stardust, though. Neil Gaiman is a phenomenal storyteller. Have you seen the movie?

  • Oh you want The Rose & The Dagger! Great picks!

    • Yes, the first book was phenomenal and I’m excited to get my hands on the second! Have you read it?

      • I’ve read The Wrath & The Dawn. Surprisingly I only rated is a 3 out of 5 stars. I know most people LOVED it but it was just okay for me. I did really enjoy the ending though and can’t wait for The Rose & The Dagger! 🙂

  • I recently purchased Daughter of Smoke and Bone! Hopefully we’ll both enjoy it 😀

I hope you get some of these under your tree! 🙂 Here’s my TTT if you would like to check it out 🙂

    Happy holidays! <3

    • Oh I’ve read DoSaB already and I looooved it. I would just love to get it on my shelf too! Happy holidays to you, too!

  • MeezCarrie

I should have included A Study in Charlotte and Wrath/Dawn on my list this week too!! Hope you do find them under your tree 🙂 My TTT

    • Have you read TWatD yet? It’s so, so good. I’m excited for the sequel!
