Studious and Sick

I figured something out recently. It’s so much easier to keep your blog updated when you don’t want to be doing other necessary things like…I don’t know…studying for finals.

Yes, it is that dreaded time of the year: Finals (*cue Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5…dun dun dun duuuuuuuuun*). Actually, for me, Finals week is next week, but I still have that horribly sad and kind of cold feeling inside that I’m sure everyone is experiencing. And to top it all off, I’m sick. My throat is aching. My head is hurting. My poor lungs are being hacked out of my body. (Shout out to DayQuil for helping me to survive) It’s basically terrible. And then, after a long day on campus, I have to trek twenty minutes back to my apartments in the freezing cold weather. Did I mention it was a whopping zero degrees when I came to work this morning. Zero. I feel like I’m a pretty positive person, so I like the temperature that way, as well. Goodness. Is that too much to ask for?
But, alas, finals are here. No matter how much I dread them and deny their existence, they refuse to go away. As we speak, I am sitting in the library, where I plan to stay until ten or eleven tonight. You heard me right, my friends. Ten or eleven. And then the walk home. I need to stop thinking about that.
I think my face really says it all – don’t you agree?
Anyways, I have to stop procrastinating. I’ll keep you updated on my “You-Know-What” week.
